Company History
Ross Roofing was founded by R.C. Ross in Seaside, California in 1950. Ross Roofing was run by R.C. Ross and his wife Harriet. Both remained active with the roofing business until they died. Harriet was still coming into the office on a regular basis past her 89th birthday! In 1964, Mr. Ross turned the full time affairs and interests of Ross Roofing over to his son, Dick Ross, who became president. Dick Ross ran the company for over 40 successful years. In 1998, Mike Ross decided to work full time at the family business. In 2004, Mike Ross formed an equal partnership with Dick Ross and both held a joint interest in the company for over 3 years. Mike Ross has been with the company on a full time management basis since 1998 and is now shouldering the next generation of roofing as the president of the corporation.
Ross roofing is now a third generation family owned roofing business with 2 more Ross great-grandsons (and perhaps a great grand daughter!) set to come up through the ranks for the fourth generation!
